Get to know the fascinating martial arts school Wing Chun Temple Torrevieja, where Sifu Andi Reich, a student of Grandmaster Samuel Kwok, teaches. Sifu Andi Reich imparts the teachings of classic Wing Chun according to the teachings of Ip Man. His students, both big and small, not only learn the original style, but also new directions of Wing Chun. Sifu Andi is always busy with other Wing Chun styles and exchanges ideas with well-known Sifus to expand his knowledge.

Our modern school is equipped with all the necessary sporting facilities and is located in sunny Torrevieja. Here we regularly offer workshops and seminars for numerous martial arts schools from all over Europe. It is important to us to provide our students with an inspiring and safe environment in which to develop their skills in Wing Chun.

What is Wing Chun? It is a traditional Chinese martial art based on efficiency, speed and technique. No great physical exertion is required in Wing Chun, as it is based on principles such as centering, balance and using the opponent's power. It is a martial art that can be learned by people of all ages and physical conditions.

Our school prides itself on preserving the teachings of Ip Man while remaining open to new developments and insights. Sifu Andi Reich attaches great importance to the individual support of each student and adapts the lessons to their needs and abilities. Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn Wing Chun from scratch or an experienced martial artist looking to improve your style, we welcome you.

International Self Defense Event 2024

The Wing Chun Temple Torrevieja is pleased to invite you to a groundbreaking event that will offer participants an intensive and wide-ranging insight into the fascinating martial arts of Wing Chun / Wing Tsun and Escrima. This unique event will take place in Torrevieja (Spain) from June 6th to 9th, 2024 and promises an unforgettable experience for all participants. We are proud to present Sifus from all over the world who will share their exceptional skills and in-depth knowledge with you. We welcome Grandmasters Samuel Kwok, Sifu Martin Dragos, Sifu Victor Gurtierrez and Sigung Salhi Avci to demonstrate their unique styles of Wing Chun / Wing Tsun and Escrima.

The modern organization for Wing Tsun and Escrima (WTEO) has been led by martial arts expert and founder Salih Avci since 1997. Master Salih Avci began studying the Chinese martial art Wing Tsun (Kung Fu) in 1980. In 1982 the Filipino weapon martial art Escrima followed. In 1984 he founded his first martial arts school in Aachen, which was followed by other schools in the Aachen area in 1985 and 1986. In 1989 he was appointed Sifu (Chinese term for father's teacher), in 1994 Master in Wing Tsun. In 1993 he opened the first academy for Wing Tsun in Europe (Cologne). Since 1990, Sifu Salih has been a contractually recognized and world-renowned trainer for special police and military units, special units such as e.g. GSG 9 and security services of different nations. Master Salih Avci has taught many thousands of students, many of whom have now become experienced and successful teachers. Quite a few of them now bear the teacher title "Sifu" themselves or are even masters, who in turn have trained highly qualified teachers. In the martial arts tradition, Master Avci bears the teacher title Grand Master or, from the Chinese tradition, the title "Sigung" because of his experience, his successes and his understanding of the martial arts. Sigung Salih Avci stands for the guarantee of modern/up-to-date technology and high-quality teaching in its affiliated schools. He therefore titles his personal interpretation of the martial arts Wing Tsun and Escrima Avci Wing Tsun and Avci Escrima.

"I wish to pass on IP Man Wing Chun as taught by the late Grandmaster IP Man and GM IP Ching and GM IP Chun." The Samuel Kwok Martial Art Association was founded by Grandmaster Samuel Kwok over 40 years ago. The club's vision is to teach authentic Ip Man Wing Chun at an exceptionally high level. The SKWCMAA is a worldwide association with representatives in over 35 countries. With more than 50 clubs/schools and thousands of members, the association is one of the largest Wing Chun associations worldwide. The SKWCMAA was formed to promote the traditional Ip Man Wing worldwide. As President, Grandmaster Samuel Kwok travels the world to visit clubs/schools and help them to popularize Ip Man Wing Chun in their countries and regions.
The members of the club are one big kung fu family supported by Grandmaster Kwok and the club not only to teach kung fu but also to bring together people of different nationalities, races, creeds and beliefs. The association strives to help each other and believes in working together to achieve a high level of Wing Chun Kung Fu and a fit and healthy life.
Even after 40 years of experience, Wing Tsun master Sifu Martin Dragos is still there with great enthusiasm. His passion is the rediscovery and integration of old knowledge, as well as the further development of practical concepts. With his work, he has decisively shaped the development within the WingTsun community in recent years and is regarded as a pioneer of the liberalization movement. In the scene he is seen as an "insider tip" for the further training of experienced teachers. Associations use the possibility of guest courses or the offer of his intensive seminars as an inspirational source.

Training in Escrima from the best-known and most recognized Escrima trainer in Europe, Grandmaster Bill Newmann, from London. Training in WingTsun in Hong Kong by the world's most famous grandmaster Leung Ting. Training in Escrima from the world's most famous and recognized Escrima instructor Rene Latosa, from Los Angeles, USA. His WingTsun and Escrima training began in 1980. He practiced various types of martial arts, including Tae Kwon Do, boxing and Lucha Libre. Awards received: 7th practitioner degree in WingTsun 5th practitioner degree in Eskrima Additional training: Training in ChiKung (system for maintaining well-being, health and prevention of injuries). Trained in marketing and company management. Professional experience: WingTsun trainer since 1985 Escrima trainer since 1985 International trainer since 1989 Founder of the European WingTsun Organization in Spain since 1989 Founder of the European WingTsun Organization Portugal since 1993 Awarded the Hall of Fame in New York in 2005 and 2006 as the best trainer in the martial arts. Awarded the Hall of Fame in Valencia in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010. Appointed Martial Director in 2006. Since 1992 building a school network of WingTsun and Escrima schools, which today has more than 400 branches and over 14000 students in Europe, America, South America and Asia. He teaches the training of the headmasters, so far more than 830 WingTsun and Escrima instructors have emerged.
